I recently had Cristy introduced to me, because I had reached a stage in my speaking career where I had to take my stage clothes to the next level. I called Cristy and in visiting with her I said, “Tell me why I should hire you?” Her response “Because the people who know you and love you, don’t care how you dress, but the people you want to hire you, they care.” I signed right up after that comment, and having never worked with a Fashion Stylist had no idea what to expect. Cristy made me feel comfortable with my transition to a spiffier Motorcycle Mary and definitely worked at a theme that stayed with my Motorcycle Mary image. I was thrilled with her ideas and suggestions and must say that the first meeting will not be my last.

Cristy is highly skilled with both makeup and wardrobe, not to mention the fact that she always puts her subject (and our crew) at ease with her kindness and fun humor.  She has a great eye for detail, and consistently goes far above and beyond any other makeup artist I have worked with to make certain our talent looks perfect in front of the camera - even if we are shooting against the green screen!  She is always my first call - her involvement gives me great confidence in the success of our shoot.  It is an extreme disappointment when she is already booked on my scheduled shoot dates, I have come to depend on her so much...In fact, I almost declined to write this for purely selfish reasons, because now I will have to compete with more people for her time!  If you work with her once, you will never want to work with any other makeup artist!!!

At age 52, and recovering from a serious illness, I wanted a fresh, new look.  I thought that finding a stylist would be a great way to perk up my wardrobe. Not wanting someone affiliated with a particular store, I found Cristy via the internet. She has been a delight! Her process of personal styling is great; from my first “meet and greet” appointment, to eliminating clothes from my closet, to creating a shopping list and color palette based on what I like, to the new look she helped create for me. We shop together for the key pieces. While she is coordinating outfits and giving them a “thumbs up or thumbs down”, I’m learning what styles, brands and colors work best for me. I was so happy having her as my personal stylist, that I had her give my daughter and me a personal makeup lesson as well. She then took us shopping for items to supplement our make-up drawers. Cristy was so creative at both working with my existing wardrobe and accessories and mixing in all the new items that I’m planning on using her each season to refresh my wardrobe and my spirits!

With starting my new job, I knew I wanted to update and improve my wardrobe. Cristy's name came to me as a referral. She really took the time to learn what I liked, then worked on the direction my new wardrobe needed to go and the budget she needed to work within. During our visits, she not only helped me weed out clothes that no longer worked for me but also educated me on the styles that flattered my body shape. I've learned so much. I love working with Cristy and will continue to do so. It is worth every dollar!
